Design Consultation & Assement

In-depth home visit, in which I’ll get together in your home to explore your needs and desires for your space. I receive the initial briefing from you, prepare the fee proposal, if that proposal is agreed, I kick off the project.

The project starts with a brainstorming session, initial site survey, followed by the development of mood boards and General Arrangement Plans.

This may include:

Discussion of each room's function, furniture pieces, and new furniture recommendations.

Paint color selections, window treatments, false ceiling, floor and lighting.

After approval of the conceptual project, we developed the complete package of Detailed and Technical Design, which is necessary for a contractor to implement the new project. (Project Image)

How it works

Initial Consultation
Signing of agreement, receipt of retainer and commencement of the project
Trade Day: on-site measurements, photos, and final criteria meeting.
Schematic design: space planning, circulation patterns, minimum clearances, and furniture layouts ideas.
Execution of floor plans and elevations, sourcing of fabrics and furnishings for approval.
Presentation of estimates and furnishings/materials, client review, final approval.
Collection of deposit and placement of orders and delivery lead time assessment
Budget review
Initiation of renovation and documentation. Millwork specification, finish selections such as flooring, paint, lighting plans, plumbing location, fixture selection, and electrical layouts.
Installation of the design plan, receipt of orders, bids, selection of contractors, and purchase orders.
Furniture installation and styling
Client reveal
Client closure meeting and presentation of final invoices
